At this writing, the New York Times has posted to my email: “Scott Walker, the embattled Republican governor of Wisconsin, narrowly survived a recall vote on Tuesday, defeating a union-led effort to remove him from office for pushing laws to restrict the collective bargaining rights of state workers.”
Please note the word “narrowly”, not to mention, “survived”, and “embattled”.
At the same time CBS was able to report: “With 70 percent of the expected vote in, Walker led Barrett 57 percent to 42 percent.”
Well, the NYTimes, unbiased reporting notwithstanding, Walker won. Big.
It was never “narrow”. At least not in the ballot box.
