Kinda neat

So my son Billy opened at the Colonial Theater in Pittsfield…

This gave me a chance to get there early, photographing this classic venue undisturbed.  What a place!  They don’t make ’em like this anymore.

Even better is when your son, in front of a packed house, dedicates a song he’s written about you!  I was totally blown away.  Plus, it helped that it was a beautiful piece, exquisitely rendered.

Thanksgiving is made up of moments like these.
