Auld Lang Syne

Had my day off and took a train to Manhattan, venturing back into the sanctuary connected to where I attended High School.

God touched my life when I was a Sophomore in that secondary institution.  Still retaining the essence of a mixed up kid, He nevertheless called me into ministry.

But not within the section of the vineyard I had been raised in.

You see, when God intervened, it wasn’t in a sanctuary, or even during a religious service.  In fact, I was standing by my locker when it all clicked.

So, the renovated sanctuary looked marvelous, and I’m sure great encounters with the Divine occur there on a regular basis.

But they are not limited to that space.  And that’s turned out to be pretty great as well.

Where is God to be found?  Ohhh, not very far from where you are now…
