So the President signed into law the largest health care reform bill ever passed… I wonder if it was what he had in mind so many months ago.
No matter. Will it help? Or will its benefits be outweighed by the ethical and fiscal costs?
I’ll bet no one, including our Chief Executive, knows.
Personally, I hope this legislation is good for our people. At the very least it will stand as a benchmark litmus test from which we can move forward, either embracing it, adapting it, or repealing it altogether.
This bill is to President Obama as Iraq was to President Bush.
Bush’s foresight is well along the path of being historically vindicated. I hope Obama’s will unfold in the same manner.
